INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- IMPORTANT. The red EMERGENCY STOP switch (No.4)
- Switch No. 2 has three positions:
- In the OFF position the machine does not function.
- In the MANUAL position it functions permanently, and therefore the OFF switch must be pressed to turn the machine off.
- In the AUTOMATIC position the weigher will stop when it receives the order from the counter.
- The item counter has a display with large numbers indicating the number of items weighed, and
another small one showing the numbers of items to be weighed. In the lower part of the item
counter there are four buttons used to change the display of small numbers when the
number of items to be made is varied. The RESET button returns the display of large numbers
to zero, so as to start counting again. The weigher stops automatically when the number of the big
display coincides with the one preselected in the small display, and it will only start up
again when the RESET button is pressed.
-
Weight regulation wheel. To move the large regulation wheel, first the small knob blocking it must
be loosened (only a couple of turns), and then it can be turned. As this is done
the reading on the peephole (No.6) will change, on a scale from 0 to 15.
- Speed regulation wheel. The machine can operate in the range between 18 and 45 items per
minute. To change the speed, turn the wheel to + or -. Each complete turn is equivalent to approximately 1 RPM.
- The hopper or dough has a capacity of approximately 88lbs., 132 lbs. and 287 lbs.
- The kneading belt is made of PVC, which is resistant to edible oil, and the kneading surface
is made of nonstick teflon. Therefore, it is not necessary to apply any oil or flour to normal
dough, but if very soft or viscous mixtures are used, it might be necessary to grease the kneading
surface with edible oil using a sponge or fine brush. Flour should never be sprinkled on the PVC belt.
The kneading surface can be adjusted to obtain the best kneading depending on the size of the item (more closed for small items,
more open for larger ones). To adjust this turn regulating knob to the left to give the correct inclination,
and once again twist the knob to block the position.
- The door (No.9) is used for access to the oil tank, is transparent to allow sight of the level
inside. The tank must always be approximately three-quarters full, if possible with olive oil, and
otherwise with sunflower oil (use of rape-seed oil is not recommended).
