An Important Announcement Regarding Our Response to the COVID-19, Novel Coronavirus

Erika Record Baking Equipment remains dedicated to ensuring the safety of the clients we serve. This includes implementing a proactive response on how our company will continue ongoing operations as the Novel-Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to impact the United States and our partners abroad.

It is important to remain calm as our business operations continue as normal. Should local, state, or federal authorities issue mandates regarding closures, our company remains dedicated to providing the best service possible while adhering to those mandates.

We Will Remain Accessible

In the event of any mandated closures, our entire team is capable of working remotely. This includes answering phones and e-mails, videoconferencing, conference calls, preparing quotes and accessing inventory levels. Our ability to respond to your needs will continue throughout the duration of any mandated quarantines or closures.

  • Virtual Testing

    We remain dedicated to ensuring we provide the right equipment solutions for clients we serve. This includes offering virtual testing as clients are urged to avoid non-essential travel. Click here to learn more about our demonstration process. We will continue to review our virtual testing procedures as the outbreak evolves. Additional guidance and procedures will be provided and/or implemented by our team based on the current outbreak status.

    Inventory

    Our warehouse includes an extensive inventory of critical spare parts to help keep your bakery up and running. We are working closely with our manufacturing partners to assess how the outbreak may impact orders. While no major delays are projected, we will be sure to communicate any delays with clients should they arise.     Travel

    As a company, we have suspended all non-essential travel for our employees and clients. This may include professional events, tradeshows, and/or installs. Clients directly impacted can expect to receive additional communication from our team. We will continue to evaluate our travel policy as conditions evolve.

    Current Federal Guidelines

    A Federal travel ban between the United States and Europe has been issued. This original travel band has since been expanded to include the U.K. and Ireland. This applies to foreign nationals and does not include U.S. citizens. We do not foresee this impacting how we currently serve our clients.     Staffing

    We have implemented a strict work from home policy for team members who may be exhibiting signs of illness or live in a region that is directly impacted by the viral outbreak. This includes:

    • Those exhibiting signs of cold or illness.
    • Those living in a region with a confirmed case and/or government-issued mandate.

    Team members working from home will utilize the tools previously mentioned to assist clients.
